It's easier to see why he was drawn to the loneliness of long-distance running, and no great surprise to read that he once said, "Iﾂdon't really have friends." If he wants to be a politician, he'll need to learn how to look as though he's listening when people talk to him, instead of staring vacantly into space. I worry, too, about how he will cope with the hatred heaped upon every politician. | |
